Where are you located?

We are Shop 4 / 665 Grange Road, Grange SA 5022.
At the end of Grange road 200m from the beach.

Are consultations free?

Yes, consultations are ALWAYS FREE.
We always have time to speak to clients that are interested in understanding anything about the tattoo process. We love to educate people of what’s achievable on skin and giving a step by step breakdown of the process..
We can be available for consultations 7 days per week between 10am-5pm, so if you would like to organise a time; please let us know your availabilities and we will find a time suitable for you to come to the studio.


What are you prices?

Our studio minimum for any tattoo is $100 dollars and these are only for very small tattoos.
The hourly rate of our resident artists begin at $150 per hour, and are capped at a day rate for larges pieces.
But commonly our studio can quote tattoos at a fixed price based on the size, style and design after having a consultation. So then you will know EXACTLY how much you will need to pay on the day rather than an hourly rate with an approximate tattoo time.
Our guest artists all charge different rates based on their experience / demand, whether it be a SET DAY RATE for large pieces, SET PRICES FOR AVAILABLE DESIGNS or an HOURLY RATE between $150-$180.
All tattoo studios set their prices differently, but at our studio we don’t really like hourly rates. We find that our clientele are happier knowing how much they need to budget for up front, rather than being surprised by an amount at the end of the booking. All tattooists work at a different pace and are able to work faster in specific styles over others.
This hypothetical scenario explains hourly rate versus tattoo time and why we quote our tattoos at a set price:
EXAMPLE TATTOO: Two Tattoo Artists who are able to perform this with the same high quality.
Artist one has been tattooing for 8 years, charges $200 per hour and can do EXAMPLE TATTOO in 3 hours. Total price: $600.
Artist two has been tattooing for 3 years, charges $120 per hour and can do EXAMPLE TATTOO in 6 hours. Total price: $720.
At our studio, through a consultation we would quote the EXAMPLE TATTOO at $650.


When do I have to pay a deposit?

Deposits are ONLY given to the studio when you want to book in an appointment to get tattooed.
It is recommended to come to the studio for a consultation so we can finalise your tattoo idea, find a suitable time to get tattooed, then pay a deposit to secure your booking.
Deposits are non refundable and are payable in the amount of:
$50 deposit for small tattoos under $200
$100 deposit for tattoos under $500
$200 deposit for large tattoos over $600.
Your deposit comes off the total price of the tattoo on the day of your booking.
It isn’t an extra fee payable on top of your tattoo.

 


How do I book in to get a custom design by Lucas Holland?

To get Lucas to design your tattoo and send it to you for final approval, we require a $200 deposit to be paid as this ensures a client is committed to getting tattooed. As a part of this service Lucas can send through your design prior to your booking and do any amendments you require.
When you come in for your booking, the $200 will get taken off the day rate we have quoted which means your custom design will be FREE OF CHARGE. If you don’t end up getting the design tattooed, completely change your mind on the design or cancel your appointment, the deposit is forfeited and put towards his drawing/design time.


What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you need to cancel your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible and always be sure that you can definitely make it to your appointment when paying a deposit.
For a full day tattoo booking, we will forfeit your deposit if you cancel within 4 days of your appointment time.
For any other tattoo bookings, if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking time we will forfeit your deposit.

If you cancel outside of these times, your deposit can only be transferred to a future booking.
As the tattoo industry is commission based, if a client doesn’t come to their appointment or cancels within the above time frames; the deposit must be forfeited to cover the artists lost time as it is very difficult to fill last minute cancellations. For example: if multiple clients cancel in a week, forfeited deposits are the only way we can keep our business running.


Can I bring my friends?

Yes, you can bring a friend with you to your booking. But since our studio space can have up to 5 people getting tattooed at once, that means there can be around 15 people in the room at once. So to maintain the comfort of our clientele and the artist while they are concentrating on their tattoo, we can only allow one person at a sit next to you while you are getting tattooed.


Do you have car parking available?

We have our own large car park behind the studio which is accessible via Charles Sturt Avenue, the side street our group of shops is on the corner of.
Otherwise there is parking right at the front of our studio on Grange road which is available all day after 9am.


Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, we do accept walk-ins pending the availability of our artists. So its best to either call the studio on (08) 7225 1731 or send us a message on Facebook.
